To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Pound Ridge Historical Society is donating a memorial plaque honoring local citizens who participated in the American Revolution.
The plaque will be installed outside Conant Hall alongside the community’s existing memorials recognizing those who served in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
A public dedication ceremony will be held on Friday, July 3rd, at 4:00 p.m. at Conant Hall. All are welcome to attend. Following the dedication, guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments as the community begins celebrating the Independence Day weekend.
