Local History Research
One of our goals is to help researchers find the historical information they seek and to help genealogists solve the missing link in their search. Our society can assist you in your historical research via either email or onsite. To proceed, please submit payment and complete the following research form by clicking the orange button below. One of our volunteers will contact you shortly upon receiving your request and payment.
Please note that all requests should be as specific as possible. You should provide us with any information you may have relating to your research.
Disclaimer: Fee is for evaluation only. The PRHS is a volunteer run organization with a limited archive. Your request will be evaluated to determine the level of research it requires. If your request requires in-depth research, you will receive an outline with scope and cost for further research. If we are unable to address your request, you will receive guidance and links for conducting personal research.
A consultation fee of $20 covers preliminary investigation and initial research. During the consultation, we will determine if PRHS is able to fulfill your research request or direct you to the proper archive. The researcher will contact you after initial investigation and provide you with an estimate of the research required; a fee of $50/hour will be charged. Additional costs will be charged for photocopies, postage and handling.

Local Images Research
The Pound Ridge Historical Society has an impressive collection of historical images. If you are interested in purchasing a copy of a photo or video from our collection, please complete the research form that follows by clicking the green button below. One of our volunteers will contact you shortly upon receiving your request.
The Society will provide digital copies of photographs from its files at a nominal charge in exchange for an agreement that images provided to you will not be copied, reproduced, sold, or published in any fashion without the written permission of the Pound Ridge Historical Society. Additional fees are required for each use if the image is to be used for commercial purposes. In these cases, wherever the image is displayed, credit must be given to the Pound Ridge Historical Society. Please note, if any image provided to you is subject to existing copyright restrictions, the Pound Ridge Historical Society will endeavor to identify such but cannot be responsible for our inability to do so, and you, as the user, are solely responsible for any copyright infringement.
